Recipe: Yellow Creek Watermelon Margaritas
"Watermelon Sugar High" is SO on the brain at the moment and this drink keeps coming to mind. I made these a few weeks back and enjoyed on Smith Lake's Yellow Creek! We are keeping it super simple ....
The Buy List:
- 6 cups of fresh watermelon cubes
- 1 cup of silver tequila
- 2 tablespoons of cointreau
- 6 tablespoons of fresh lime juice {plus a few to garnish}
- salt for the rim
- and oh ... your friendly blender
What do to:
1. Place all {excluding salt & limes for garnish} in the blender and blend until smooth.
2. Salt the rims of your glass.
3. Add ice to said glasses & pour over! (this makes 6 servings)
