Whether you're a year rounder, a weekender and or a vacationer ~ we are ALL Smith Lake People! Arley, the little town at the heart of Smith Lake, has three new local businesses I am excited to share! I personally love seeing new life in the buildings on the way to our happy place & seeing them thrive starts  with all of us KNOWING about them and making a POINT to stop in! 

• Simple Sue’s Bakery - think ice cream, donuts, cakes and more PLUS a chicken salad trio. They have a kids table complete with our favorite book, Smith Lake A to Z ~ which is also sold at TARGET now! 

• Frogs Bootleg BBQ ~ with a name like that it has to good! They are open Friday & Saturday and happily welcome your call ahead orders! This is the perfect option for pick-up on your way IN for the weekend! 






• Smith Lake Flea Market & Antique Mall ~ If you follow my social media accounts, their mention will come as no surprise. Supporting them isn't just about MY booth ~ it's about ALL the vendors & small businesses within. There are treasures big & small! It has been an absolute JOY to watch this place come to life over the last year. The Darby family has worked to create a collective mix of old, new & all things Smith Lake!  They are open Wednesday - Sunday and stay tuned for a fun announcement regarding MEMORIAL DAY Weekend on Smith!


All of our local businesses are here watching our shorelines year round ~ whether its quite or crazy  ~ they are the steady.  I challenge you to make it a point to Support Smith Lake small businesses in 2020!
