Recipe: My Mother's Key Lime Lake Pie

Key Lime Pie is a fabulous southern tradition and best served lakeside, if you ask me! This is my Mother's very requested recipe so thanks for sharing with us, GG! We love you and it!

Ingredients:
  • 9 inch gram cracker crust
  • 1 small can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 egg yokes
  • 1/2 cup of fresh squeezed lime juice {about 4 limes juiced}
  • whipped cream {fresh is best, but pre-made is fab too}

Directions:
Using a mixing bowl, combine milk, eggs & lime juice; beating until blended. Next, pour into the pie crust. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. After cooling, add a layer of cool whip to the top and enjoy!
